Hiking the Azores
In September my hiking group flew to the Azore Islands in the North Atlantic.
The islands belong to Portugal and are located 950 miles west of mainland Portugal.
We visited 3 of the 9 islands, they seemed somewhat Hawaii-like, the streets were lined with hydrangea flowers.

Horseshoe Bend & Antelope Canyon
In mid October Laura, Connie and I drove to Page, AZ to kayak the Horseshoe Bend section of the Colorado river,
and then to tour Upper & Lower Antelope Canyon.

Cheryl's Visit
Cheryl and I were "reacquainted" at our 50th high-school reunion in August.
We were not friends in high school, but were in the same 4th grade class.
